Smoked Knotty Rub Cream Cheese


  • 1- 8 oz block of cream cheese (COLD)
  • 4 tbsp Knotty Rub
  • 2-Tbsp Knotty Honey
  • 1 tsp chives
  • 1 bag of crispy crackers



  1. Load up your pellet hopper with Competition blend Plummond pellets and preheat the smoker to 225 F.
  2. Remove the cream cheese from the fridge directly and score the top of the cream cheese diagonally to create a crosshatch pattern.
  3. Sprinkle Knotty Rub liberally over the top of the scored cream cheese
  4. Put the seasoned cream cheese into a cast iron skillet and place inside the preheated smoker.
  5. Smoke for at least 2 hours or until you see the cream cheese has browned on the top
  6. Remove from the smoker and drizzle the top with honey and chives.
  7. Serve with crackers and enjoy!
