Like many great ideas, this rub started in a deer camp. More than a decade and a half ago, our founder was BBQ-ing for some hunters who were, as you might imagine, quite hungry. Sure, we’ve tinkered with it some since, but this is more or less the same recipe that those hunters had all those years ago. So many people liked it, we knew not to mess with a good thing.
