Tri-Tip Kabobs-Pellet Grill


  • 2 lbs tri-tip steak
  • 2 large bell peppers
  • 1 Red onion
  • 1 yellow squash or zucchini
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • Bachan’s Yuzu Japanese Barbecue Sauce
  • Knotty Wood Almond Wood Pellets


  1. Start by cutting the Tri-tip into small chunks and roughly chop the bell peppers, red onion, and squash.
  2. Tip: If you are prepping this the night before: marinate the Tri-tip in Bachan’s Yuzu sauce.
  3. Fire up the grill to 450°F and add in Knotty Wood Almond pellets. Fill up each skewer with the meat, veggies, and cherry tomatoes.
  4. Thoroughly coat each skewer with Bachan’s Yuzu sauce before placing on the grill.
  5. Place skewers on the grill and sear. Cook for about 10 to 15 minutes, flipping at least one to cook evenly. Cook until the beef reaches an internal temperature of 140°F.
  6.  Remove skewers from the grill and drizzle on more Bachan’s Yuzu sauce before letting it rest for 10 minutes. Serve and enjoy!
